    Professional Background

Joshua Milon is a dedicated employment law attorney and partner at Workers’ Rights Legal Group (Milon Pluas LLP), where he has built a distinguished career advocating for workers’ rights and pursuing justice for those who have faced workplace discrimination and wrongful termination.

A Southern California native, Joshua earned dual degrees in Business Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, providing him with a unique analytical foundation that combines financial acumen with deep understanding of human behavior—skills that prove invaluable in employment law practice.

Before pursuing his legal career, Joshua gained valuable real-world business experience working as a Financial Analyst for four years, developing the commercial insight that enhances his ability to understand complex workplace dynamics and employment-related financial damages. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles.

Following law school, Mr. Milon began his legal career in defense work, handling wrongful death, employment, and personal injury matters. This experience on both sides of the courtroom provides him with strategic advantages in anticipating defense tactics and building stronger cases for his plaintiffs’ clients.

In 2008, he established his own practice as a solo practitioner, and in 2013, he partnered with longtime friend and colleague Angel Pluas to form Workers’ Rights Legal Group. Since founding the firm, Mr. Milon has successfully managed hundreds of plaintiffs’ cases from initiation through resolution, including multiple trials and appeals, establishing a track record of results-driven advocacy for working people.
