    How AI-Powered Search Is Rewriting the Rules of Legal Visibility

    What is SGE?

    Google’s Search Generative Experience or SGE is a new AI-powered search interface that replaces the classic blue links with synthesized, AI-written summaries. That means your law firm is no longer being found through traditional rankings. Instead, potential clients are asking Google’s AI things like: “What should I do if I’m charged with a felony?” “Best estate planning attorney in Dallas for blended families.” And the AI summarizes its answer, often citing only 2 to 3 sources that it considers trustworthy, structured, and authoritative.
